johnwhit1 Report post Posted January 19, 2020 I would like to use a tow dolly to tow a 2018 Toyota Prius 3. Do I just load the car; put it in park; and release the parking break? The front wheels do not seem to lock so I'm assuming this will work without causing any harm to the car. Any comments or advice please?
wildebill308 Report post Posted January 19, 2020 Welcome to the forum. What dolly are you going to use? Different dollies require different setups. Some require the steering to be locked and some don't. Bill

johnwhit1 Report post Posted January 19, 2020 The ACME tow dolly instructions call for an unlocked steering column. I was basically concerned about the rear wheels turning without the engine running maybe having an effect on the Prius batteries.
