I haven't had to disassemble the battery hold down brackets and clean the corrosion since. The coach batteries used to be wet, like they were leaking but not anymore. Eagerbeaver Report post Posted September 14, 2010 We put them on our coach (i.e. house) batteries, and also on the house batteries on our boat, and have really noticed an improvement (i.e. decrease in water consumption), and it has made the coach's battery compartment much cleaner (less battery acid 'mist' causing corrosion).
