clinton Report post Posted May 24, 2010 I am looking to upgrade to side cameras on my bounder 2010. Is there a brand that is better to get? Clinton
wolfe10 Report post Posted May 24, 2010 When I recently upgraded my rear view system (no side cameras) I found these guys to be very knowledgeable. They don't just sell the equipment, they service it and are familiar with installations: http://www.rvcams.com/ Brett
Guest Wayne77590 Report post Posted May 24, 2010 Side cameras came on my coach. They come on automatically when I put the turn signal on. I don't use them. I have my mirrors (including spot mirror) adjusted so that I see what is on my side wherever they may be. I use the rear view all the time.
jmonroe Report post Posted May 24, 2010 In general, I don't like the side cameras. When the turn signal is on it shuts off the rear view camera in favor of the side camera. I can see down the side with the mirrors. I can't see the back of my toad, relative to what's passing me, or vice versa, when the rear camera is off.
