mstevefr Report post Posted July 6, 2010 The exhaust brakes on my 2006 Newmar Kountry Star have stopped working. I can activiate the switch however, nothing happens...no downshifting, no light illumination on the dash, no exhaust brakes. It seems to me that this may be an electrical issue. I have checked my fuse panel and was unable to find one that was labeled "auxiliary brake". I would appreciate any suggestions on what the problem may be or where I should look for a blown fuse. dqcarol@verizon.net Report post Posted July 6, 2010 I have had this happen on my coach...Wire going to the solenoid became loose or broke off. Mine is difficult to find and even harder to get my hands in that area to fix. The hardest thing to repair on my coach is finding out what and where the problem is....Most mechanics are not much help...IMHO

Within a couple hours I received a reply from Dave (Spartan Customer Service) telling me where to find the fuse panel and which fuse I should check.
