mrsmithfmca Report post Posted August 24, 2010 New to the forums, search didn't find this topic. Bought Sun Block for Tires Kit at Camping World, but wanted to check if any on has had experience with the product on RV tires. I use tire covers when going to be parked for extended stays ( more than week or two), but this looked like a good everyday solution. Like to know what the group thinks or if anyone has found a better product. Thanks, Michael 2004 Alfa 36FD
tireman9 Report post Posted September 5, 2010 Not sure about the "paint". I have confirmed that white tire covers can lower the temperature by over 35°F in full sun. Don't forget damage, including heat damage, is cumulative so every hour you spend at elevated temperatures cuts into your tire life.
