Handicap Accessible RV Available In North East?

We are searching for a wheel chair accessible Class A or Class C motorcoach to help a wounded Veteran participate in the upcoming Marine Corp Marathon in Washington DC.

If anyone knows of a motorhome with a wheel chair lift and wide entrance door located in the North East US you can help in this exciting venture.

Maybe you should post this on a site that has a lot of trailers like goodsamclub.com and ask if anyone has a toy hauler type trailer. On those, the entire rear of the trailer folds down to use as a ramp. I wish I had one for you to use. It is nice of you to do this.

Good news! Alpin Haus RV of Amsterdam, New York, has generously donated the use of a Monaco Knight in which Sgt. Ryan will be transported to Washington, D.C., for the Marine Corps Marathon. Details have been worked out to ensure that he will be able to be carried aboard the coach and ride in it comfortably. Thanks to all for your concern. As this is an ever-changing project, we will include more information on the Web site as it becomes available and will cover it in Family Motor Coaching magazine following the race.
