five Report post Posted March 15, 2014 I can't see where waxing or treating just the outside 18" or 2' of the roof is going to stop any white run off. When it rains, the untreated part of the roof is subject to the rain and will run off...right over the treated part and down the sides. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
