rhuffhines Report post Posted March 22, 2011 My wife and I are considering purchasing a 2007 Tribute 260 that comes with a rear radiator vs what I usually see as side mounted radiators in this weight and engine size (Caterpillar C9 400 HP) coach. Need help in deciding whether one application is better than the other. Also what has been your experiences if you own a motor home with a 400 HP diesel and rear mounted radiator. ClayL Report post Posted March 22, 2011 My diesel pusher owning friends favor the side radiator for at least two reasons. 1) It stays cleaner 2) It makes it easier to get to the belts and other parts of the engine.
