hlswaim Report post Posted March 26, 2011 It's time to change the rear differential lube on my '06 Fleetwood Bounder on a Workhorse chassis (W22). The owner's manual specifies synthetic axle fluid 75-90W GL-5. Is there any particular brand you'd recommend?
georgeiv Report post Posted March 27, 2011 Hiswaim You should be using Amsoil fluids through out the complete chassis, they are the best choice. George
wolfe10 Report post Posted March 27, 2011 While many will have a favorite (anything- be it oil, car, motorhome, etc) any synthetic oil that meets the Mil-Specs provided by your chassis maker will be fine. One other criteria I use is that it is universally available. So if you select a quality oil that meets the above specs and see it at Walmart, etc, THAT adds to its desirability to me.
