vipcruztur Report post Posted September 8, 2011 My kitchen sink is slow draining, due to too much junk going down the drain. Can I use Drano to clean out traps, etc.???
Guest BillAdams Report post Posted September 8, 2011 It would be better to remove the trap and clean it yourself. If you choose not to (or cannot) take this option then just be sure that you use a drain cleaner approved for the type of pipe used in your coach. If you do use chemicals I would recommend that you do so while connected to sewer, leave the drain open and flush with copious amounts of water once that is an option. Larry196 Report post Posted September 9, 2011 I would never use that caustic of chemicals in our RV. Really messes up the rubber and plastic connections, not to mention what it does to the bacteria in the grey tank. I don't know if even leaving the valve open, you could run enough water to flush the tank.
