Hi,

We are Pat and Phyllis, I am 62 y/o and Phyllis, is well.... younger. We are retired, Phyllis as a nurse for 20+ years, and I from an oil company and also, US Army and Army National Guard. We have two grown sons, one married, he and his wife have blessed us with two grandchildren. Our present "four-legged children" are two dachshunds, who rule my life.

We have been camping for over 30 years, starting with a tent to present day - '06 Winnebago Voyage 33V M/H, towing a '10 Honda CRV. In the past years of traveling and a few workamping positions, we have met some great people, who have become very good friends and have shared many holidays with our family in Cajun country.

At present, we still live in south LA, are part-timers and will probably continue so. We belong to Good Sam, KOA and Passport America.

We are looking forward to seeing and meeting new friends down the road.

Welcome to the Forum. Have you joined FMCA? That is a great place to start. You can look up chapter on this web site. There is one in your area called "Cruzin Cajuns". They are a lively group and have several rallies each year.

If you and Phyllis are free the first week in October let me invite you to Durant, Oklahoma. We are having a Rally at the KOA Choctaw Casino Park. There are at present 20 coaches registered. If you might be interested message me and I will send you and Itinerary.

There are lot of chapters out there with very nice and Friendly folks.

Thanks for the welcome and the invite, we will have to take a rain-check.

We will be heading up to PA on 1 Oct. We know about the Cruzin' Cajuns, but just not sure what we want to do, as of yet. I can promise you one thing, if the word "cajun" is in a name/event you will have a memorable time and some unforgettable food.
