Vanaman Report post Posted September 20, 2011 Replaced the house batteries, one cable left over that I am not sure what it goes to. It seems to run to the opposite side of the coach into the compartment with the inverter. It looks like a phone line, would with go to the Positive or Negative terminal? Guest BillAdams Report post Posted September 20, 2011 This goes on the Negative post of any battery in the bank and measures the temperature of the batteries so the inverter can make charging adjustments based upon the current temp.
kingfr Report post Posted September 20, 2011 It is more than likely a cable which should connect into a temperature sensor on one battery to allow the inverter to properly charge the battery. The sensor for my Magnum inverter is attached to a negative terminal, per the owners manual. The other end plugs into an RG11 port on the inverter.
