jlbltd Report post Posted April 21, 2012 I have a 12 foot kayak that I want to transport with my 24' Winnebago View. I can't find a commercial rack to fit this size. Any suggestions or ideas-- no room on roof.

dickandlois Report post Posted April 21, 2012 I have no clue what might work for you, but this is a link to one of the local kayak shops in our area. Most are for pickup trucks,SUVs and cars, but they might have something or information that would help. Live in an area where a number of people transport them around all summer to use on a number of lakes, ponds and streams. The link also lists there 800 number. http://www.oakorchar...e.com/racks.php Rich. Interesting Bill ???
lgray12845 Report post Posted October 22, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwD-9JKXdzA Generally kayaks under 12' long are recommended for the patented RV Kayak Racks. They are lighter and easier to load. Some people do use the racks with 12' long kayaks but you have more overhead concerns. The FMCA magazine has a new product release article in the March 2014 upcoming magazine. Go to www.rvkayakracks.com for more information.
