ronandsue74 Report post Posted August 7, 2012 I have a 2005 Inspire 330 #51264. I would like to check the chassis freon pressure before I embark on a rather long summer trip. I have two questions; How do I know which freon is in my system. 134A seems to be what is readily available. The instructions on the freon cans say "locate the low pressure port" I have located a port but how do I know if it's the low pressure port? JerryPotter Report post Posted August 10, 2012 Go to a auto parts store. Buy a can of freon, 134A is all you can get and thats what you need. Get the one with a gauge on the hose. Connect the hose to the low side port. That's the only one it will fit, usually a blue cap. The gauge will tell you with a OK or other reading. If it needs it, you can then put a shot or two in. If it needs freon, that means its leaking, refrigeration systems are sealed and do not require addition of freon unless its leaking. Jerry Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
