hermanmullins Report post Posted August 22, 2012 I just read on the net where there has been 50,000 barrels of Bad Regular Unleaded fuel shipped from BP into the Northern Area of Indiana. It stated that for vehicles that only purchased a couple of gallons it can be diluted with fresh gas. But cars that filled up can have a real problem. Not only must the tank be drained and flushed so do all of the fuel lines and possibly the injectors cleaned. BP has said they will pay for repairs. Here is the best case for keeping receipts. To better understand this google BP bad fuel. Hope this help a lot of people. Herman
bizsmith@yahoo.com Report post Posted August 23, 2012 Thanks for the warning. We have a diesel coach and I was advised to avoid small service stations where small turnover might result in water by condensation but everyone needs gasoline for the toad and the BP situation you warned about is unforgivable.
