hazelbaker Report post Posted September 12, 2012 I am towing a 2005 Crossfire rear wheel drive on a dolly. Because of it being a RWD car I put the rear wheels on the dolly with the front wheels on the ground. (Towing it backwards) My front tires are wearing on the insides. Is this normal or can it be that my front end is out of alignment???
wolfe10 Report post Posted September 12, 2012 Towing backwards is advised against by ALL makers of tow dollies. Your toad's front suspension geometry is designed with caster such that it will "return to center". By towing it backwards, it is designed to wander. Like pushing a grocery cart backwards. Don't do it.
