itgeekgal Report post Posted January 17, 2013 We are at the Tampa Supershow & fell in love with the 2013 Itasca Eclipse 42GD. With the exception of only 1 sink in the bathroom this model with it's 55' Samsung TV on the wall & the chassis technology is so innovative compared to most. We currently own a Tiffin Phaeton which we love, we are comfortable with the Tiffin products & know very little about Winnebago/Itasca products. We are full timers so need a coach thats durable as well as comfortable, any feedback from current/prior owners is greatly appreciated.
grdyess Report post Posted January 17, 2013 We also owned a 40 ft Phaeton and traded for a 2012 ft Winnebago Tour have been to the factory and attended the WIT rally last July in Forrest City all we can say is the folks at the factory are great folks to deal with and we had a mavelous time at the rally, met lots of fantastic folks and talked with the vendors. Will not say we didn't love our Phaeton but the new Tour has (2) bathrooms which was a big plus for the wife, it also has a dish washer and other items the 2008 Phaeton did not have, we were lucky to be at Tom Johnsons RV in Charlotte when the deal came up and are as happy as we can be and will probable purchase another Winnebago when we are ready. Lots of amenities for the price. We also are full timers and the full body slide on the drivers side is a very big plus. Glenn and Lynda
