Northern MIssissippi

Question

We are planning to visit the tiny town of Indianola, Mississippi, to do some genealogy research. We cannot find anywhere within 40 miles to stay with the motorhome (2001 Winnebago Adventurer 32').

We called the Walmart in town, and they said they don't allow overnight stays.

We're hoping some FMCA member is familiar with this area and might know of a place for a one or two night stay? We could always stay at one of the motels in town, but we'd prefer the RV.

We were hoping maybe a church or an Elks Club, or some other commercial establishment might let us stay in the parking lot for one or two nights.

Chambo1,

Welcome to the Forum.

The likely reason WalMart will not allow you to park there is there is a city ordinance against it and not them. Other places would would fall under the same rule.

Check out http://rvparkreview.com. You may find a location closer.

Good Luck,

Herman
