Flashers Quit Working

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have a question. We went to leave our campground today and I started up our 06 Winnebago Sun Cruiser with a Chevy workhorse 8.1 and go this error message on the dash NO J1850 ACTIVITY.

So I turned it off and before I turned it off I noticed that nothing on the dash worked, gas, RPMs nothing moved. After starting it up again all was normal other then now my flashers won't work.

Can someone tell me if there is a fuse for the flashers?

If so where is it located?

Thank you so much for your help.

Movingon,

Do you still have Brake lights?

The other item that you might check are the flasher on the toad? GM trucks now use a flasher module, that has one set on contacts for the truck chassis and another for a trailer; built into the same module. With Workhorse picking up that chassis a few years back it might still be in use.

Will see if I have any information on the circuit in my files, they do keep that information close to the vest.

Rich.

Movingon,

The information I have on file:

Stop / Hazard fuse is 20 amps. Fuse number 29. Mentions under the hood, on the coach it could be on the front firewall area.

The main power buss fuse is listed as 50 amps, fuse number 50

.

The wiring changes for year to year though.

Rich.
