onevw Report post Posted September 5, 2013 How fast should these jacks lower a coach. If I raise the coach it raises very smoothly but if I use the down button the coach just drops like a rock. When I release the button it stops like rock as well. If I use the store button it lowers much slower but still hits the ground very hard. dickandlois Report post Posted September 5, 2013 Rick, Welcome to FMCA. There should be velocity valves in each of the hydraulic lines, located at the main manifold. They should restrict the flow so the jacks retract slower.
