captterry Report post Posted September 30, 2013 Hello from Alaska, I'm a new (2004 Roadtrek 190P) owner. I live summers in Alaska and winters.....wherever? Wife Cindy, Spec. Ed. schoolteacher, former flight attendant and I have spent winters in South Padre Island, Texas, Arizona Colorado River area or, this year, on the beach at Capt San Blas, Florida. I am a retired Military/State Department pilot/ and retired Alaska Wildfire Suppression Lead Plane pilot. We are looking to purchase a condo/ apartment or such somewhere in the Lower 48. Near the ocean much preferred. We are still looking. This is year three of going outside of Alaska in the winter. looking in the $100K price range. We'll put 8000 miles on our Roadtrek driving from our storage site in Portland over to Florida and return this year starting next month. Do any of you have recommendations as regards the best "over the road" membership to buy?? All of them seem to have some good points.
