NeilSouthwick Report post Posted January 28, 2014 HELP!! We have a 2004 Meridian (diesel) with Workhorse Chassis. The dashboard has completely failed, i.e. none of the gauges work. We had been told that an outfit in Indiana could fix it - that turned out to be a hoax and a rebuilt replacement has also failed. Is there anyone who has any advice? dickandlois Report post Posted February 18, 2014 Hi Neil, Welcome to the FMCA Forum! This is a link to that might be of help regarding you Dash Instrument cluster. Wish I could say that I have used them for service, but that is not the case. http://www.instrumentclusters.com/ Rich.
NeilSouthwick Report post Posted February 19, 2014 Rich....Many thanks for this info and for your response. However, you might be interested to know that we seem to have fixed the problem!! Apparently it has all boiled down to a meticulous mechanic in Maine who traced all the grounds re-secured them. Now the dash works and even the backup camera (which didn't work even before the dash problems came about). Might be interesting to see how many other problems go back to loose wiring.... dickandlois Report post Posted February 19, 2014 Thanks for your response! Grounds and the lack of them is always a problem! The common cry on the forum is, Check the Grounds! Check the grounds. Good to hear that you are up and running and for passing along the cause of the dash malfunction! Rich.
