jsdelo Report post Posted February 19, 2014 I need to know the location of the parking brake buzzer on a 1999 Monaco Diplomat. And, is there a mini switch or fuse that operates the buzzer?
dickandlois Report post Posted February 20, 2014 jsdelo, Welcome to the FMCA Forum! Monaco generally uses one buzzer circuit to monitor multiple items. Is the buzzer always on or not working? Rich.
BillAdams Report post Posted February 20, 2014 If it's buzzing, just follow the sound! You will find it pretty quickly.
jsdelo Report post Posted February 20, 2014 No, the buzzer is not working. I can't seem to find the location. Also is there mini relay or fuse that operates the buzzer.
dickandlois Report post Posted February 20, 2014 jsdelo ,I have looked at all the wiring information I have and there is no indication of a park brake buzzer. The last phone number I have for Monaco technical support is 877-466-6226. Rich.
topfuel1 Report post Posted February 20, 2014 I have a 2001 Diplomat and had the problem last fall in Texas, it was the valve under the button. Hard to change but doable. Had a bypass plug made for it by a trans shop until we got to Yuma and I changed it myself. Monaco has the part..
