Ford Fusion 2011 Help

Recommended Posts

Bought in Nov 2010. Have had 2 transmissions replaced already, covered by manufacture warranty. Bought extended warranty, in November 2013, because we knew it would happen again and it did..

Ford says it is our fault, we're towing it wrong, and should have purchased a pump. The first we've heard of a pump for this car. This car has 31000 miles.

Friendly Ford in Las Vegas, Nevada, will not honor the extended warranty.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

Ask the Ford Trans mechanic if the trans pump will pump at idle and if he thinks its enough to keep it lubed, I have towed rear wheel drive vehicles to the auto auction for yrs with no problem with the trans in N and idling the engine also we had a member on another forum from Canada that came from Canada to Florida with a Lincoln TC on a tow bar by idling the engine cant see why it wont work with the Fusion, check into it might be a simple way out of a mess.
