hermanmullins Report post Posted December 1, 2014 t46, You should be able to tow your Trooper with the truck in neutral. Does it have a steering wheel lock and do you need to have the key on to put it in neutral? The Trooper is a five speed manual transmission and the transfer case does not have a neutral …so do I keep the transfer case in 2H, keep the front hubs in free wheel and put the transmission in neutral.
