Sarasota FL RV Parks

When in the Sarasota area, we stay at Holiday Cove in Cortez. Very nice place, quiet, no organized activities, but that works for us.

We stay at the Royal Coachman Resort just south of Sarasota in the area of Venice, Fl and have been coming here since 2010
Be careful this place is infectious and will pull you in! Lots to be involved in if you choose. Lovely fellow campers from all over have been coming here for decades. We stumbled here on our way to Naples and have been coming back every year since for the winter.

Hope it helps.

This time of year might be hard to get something longer than a week or 2. It does seem the snow bunnies are a little late this year.

We love the sunsets at Turtle Beach Campground, a county facility at Siesta Key. It is a tiny facility, 40 sites only and with no amenities.... except a laundry and restroom building. We like it because it is only a 50 feet walk to the beach. They do have full hookups and wifi. It fills up easily. If you know ahead of time, you can reserve 6 mo before. Otherwise, call often for cancellations.

Address is: 8862 Midnight Pass Road, Sarasota, FL 34242. Or web: https://www.scgov.net/turtlebeachcampground/Pages/default.aspx. Ph (941)349-3839.
