jg053047 Report post Posted January 8, 2015 We stay at the Royal Coachman Resort just south of Sarasota in the area of Venice, Fl and have been coming here since 2010Be careful this place is infectious and will pull you in! Lots to be involved in if you choose. Lovely fellow campers from all over have been coming here for decades. oscarpower Report post Posted January 12, 2015 We love the sunsets at Turtle Beach Campground, a county facility at Siesta Key. It is a tiny facility, 40 sites only and with no amenities.... except a laundry and restroom building. We like it because it is only a 50 feet walk to the beach. They do have full hookups and wifi. It fills up easily. If you know ahead of time, you can reserve 6 mo before. Otherwise, call often for cancellations. Address is: 8862 Midnight Pass Road, Sarasota, FL 34242.
