dlrmp2008 Report post Posted March 14, 2015 The 5 amp fuse in the control panel on my HWH 110 series leveler w/o dump does not seem to be connecting to anything when you insert fuseholder and fuse into the fuse port. Is there supposed to be a spring or something in the bottom of the hole that I could be missing?
dickandlois Report post Posted March 15, 2015 dlrmp2008, Welcome to the FMCA Forum! The Fuse Replacement part number is RP6352. See the links below. The lower portion of the fuse holder can brake, if this happens then the fuse does not make contact with the terminal. http://www.hwhcorp.com/mr201200.pdfdlrmp http://www.hwhcorp.com/mr201000.pdf HWH contact information. http://www.hwhcorp.com/custserv3.html Rich
dlrmp2008 Report post Posted March 27, 2015 Here are some pictures of the fuse and fuse holder i have. Don't know if they are original or not. When I put the fuse in the fuse holder and press on it, there is a little bit of spring resistance. But when I put fuse holder with the fuse in it into the fuse port it does not seem to make contact with anything else in the bottom of the fuse port. Overall length is 1 11/16th inch with fuse in fuse holder. Is there supposed to be another spring or contact hooked to the other end of the fuse? Or is there another part of the fuse holder that I am missing. Have been through everything I can find at HWH and cannot find a picture of the fuse and fuse holder, and don't want to order them if they are the same thing I have now..... THANKS FOR ANY HELP I CAN GET, DENNIS
dickandlois Report post Posted March 28, 2015 Take a look at this link. The style has changed - so there is a good chance that the thread's and the diameter have also. Now that I have your picture to look at, I will see if I can find one at one of my old supply houses. Yes there is a spring inside this style fuse holder-the key is the correct diameter and length. http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?FS=TRUE&N=4294764378+18503194+4291292757+4294649083+4291348749+4291336044+1323043 Could you measure the Gray portion's length and diameter - also measure the metal portion's length and diameter. Post that information for me. This style holder has prongs at the bottom / Called a bayonet that contact slots inside the holder to keep the holder in place as you rotate it Now to see if we can get lucky !!! Rich. dlrmp2008 Report post Posted March 28, 2015 The grey portion's length is 9/16th inch, diameter is 3/8th inch. Metal portion's length is 1/4 inch, diameter is 5/16th inch. Diameter of the 2 locking ears is 13/32th. Is there a spring that the fuse contacts, on the end that the fuse holder is not connected to, or anything else inside the fuse port hole? Thanks again for your help, Dennis
