Starting Issue: Travel Supreme Class A Motorhome

Help, anyone that has info of my problem please let me know.

My coach has just started this, when the key is turned to crank, the 350hp Cummins engine it will not turn over.

I can push the battery booster switch and so far it has cranked.

The batteries are new and fully charged.

Is this a switch or starter problem?

When you say the batteries are new and fully charged, have you checked both CHASSIS and HOUSE batteries with a digital voltmeter?

Does your coach have provisions for charging the chassis batteries from shore power-- many do NOT?

The fact that it will start with the boost switch is engaged suggests that either the chassis batteries are not charged or that there is a poor connection between the chassis batteries and engine.
