ksteingrube Report post Posted August 31, 2015 IronHorse Rv Resort, Elko, Nv. It was very interesting to us how this park operates. They charge a $5.00 non-refundable deposit. We made a reservation to stay at their park and unfortunately we were sideswiped by a fire truck in I-80 about 30 miles west of Winnemucca, NV. They refused to refund the $5.00 and said they could have charged us for the whole night because we canceled with their 72 hour policy. Nothing was said when I made the reservation the day before (which was not 72 hours before our stay) about the $5.00 being non refundable. It is not the money, it is the principal of it.
