jjgnn@yahoo.com Report post Posted October 29, 2009 Thank you for that. My father was a dentist and facial surgeon aboard a hospital ship in the pacific, and I wish I still had his letters. I wish the present generation could get a feel for what they went through, and what the people waiting for them at home went through. Young folks do not grasp that we did not really know if we were going to win that one, and when history is viewed from that viewpoint, it gets scary for all involved.
