kaypsmith Report post Posted June 15, 2016 Wingard Razor is a rooftop auto search antenna. Is the 12 volt DC connected to the wall mounted amplifier? This is where it gets power to turn the rotor and to power the amplifier. This is a highly directional antenna and if not properly hooked up, it can not do a search to find the best signals for the stations near you. BillAdams Report post Posted July 18, 2016 Hopefully, you mean the Razar Automatic or Razar Z1 listed above. The others are worth much of anything unless you will be very close the to TV transmitters and you can put it in a window with a clear view to them. Both of the 2 Razar's I listed require 12V power and the instructions are very clear on how this needs to be provided. We will wait until you get back to us with more information. gulya Report post Posted January 2, 2017 We purchased a winegard razar automatic installed by Camping World when our oem HD360 crapped out. Did not want hole in ceiling so payed a bundle for this antenna. Would not recommend this unit to anyone. It hardly picks up signals at over 15 miles and they constantly fade in and out. Buyer beware.
