greenbarn1 Report post Posted July 9, 2016 Hi all, ok here is the scenario. Spent the winter in Florida in my 2004 American tradition. We got home in late April as usual.emptied coach and shut off refrigerator. Today I turned on fridge for some summer travel and display starts to beep and flash no a/c. Fridge works on LP. dickandlois Report post Posted July 10, 2016 Carl, what is the Make and Model of your refrigerator ? Like Jim mentioned it could be an open circuit breaker, but you did mention that it has been turned off sense returning home. Some model refrigerators do have a 20 amp Fuse on the control board, but make sure the power is off before checking it. That fuse can fail and as long as the control board has 12 volts the LP side will work. If the breaker is open or the fuse has blown, there is a possibility of a failed electric heating coil, it the fridge pops the breaker or fuse again. Thin one will need to check for a shorted coil.
