I drove that route last month and you're looking at a long day. I stopped in Countryside RV Park, 30 Sawmill Rd, Dillon, MT 59725, csrvmt.com, (406) 683-9860. 

Interesting place to visit is Golden Spike Utah, Brigham City, UT. This is the historic site where the first transcontinental railroad met. They bring out vintage steam engins and re enact the meeting.
