I'd love to hear more about this... How do you get locked in so you can't get out? Was it a malfunction of the door lock? How did they finally resolve the problem? This could be helpful information in case we have friends with the same problem!!!

A couple we know were camping at Jekyll Island and got locked out. Somehow one of their cats jumped up and hit the door lock. They managed to jimmy the drivers window and get back in-all the time it was pouring rain. Now getting locked in-that is definitely a different story!!

Of course it would have to be raining when this happened. The cats sure knew what they were doing didn't they? We started carrying a spare key in the toad for just such an emergency! Imagine the fun if the cats (or dogs or grandkids) had jumped on the parking brake release. I keep a collar under the parking brake release so that it can't be depressed by accident. I also chock the wheels every time we stop! Trust but verify!

My name is Marilynn and my husband and I stayed at Turning Wheels about 3 years ago. They did the warranty work on our new Monaco.. Before arriving, quite by accident, we had been in another facility that Monaco had suggested in Leesburg. While we were there we also got locked in the MH.. We called the facility (we were camped in their service area in the back) and adjusting the door lock was one of the issues we asked to be addressed. We managed to get out before the service manager got to our coach. He comes in and has this look like "and you got locked in here?" we replied yes the door would not open.. Well, he went to leave and he found getting out difficult. To make a long story short, we left there for extremely poor service. We chose the camp ground adjacent to Turning Wheels ( can't remember its name now) and Turning Wheels completed our warranty work. They were competent and nice. I am currently in Sarasota Fl and will be returning home when my son arrives Friday to help me drive home. My husband died 2 years ago at Eustis Fl and I was trying out the MH by myself with my new dog. Take care and enjoy!

whilewith the LOLs group (loners on wheels) one of our members got locked in his MH. His front door was jammed and could not get out. after about an hour one of our other members asked him if he tried his drivers side door? He had forgot he had one!
