No measurements, but here is a picture of the pads that were pulled out. As you can see there is no pad material left. Basically steel on steel.

It is a Freightliner chassis. Initially the pads were ordered by Vin# and freightliner supply sent what was "supposed" to be the correct part. The shop doing the work did what you suggested and used those numbers and attempted to find a source for them. After a week of searching one set of pads were found and shipped in. Yesterday another set was found in Idaho and is being shipped. As usual, Covid has decimated the manufacturing and distribution of most everything. It took a week to find a set of tires! Sold out, no production runs scheduled, etc.

I took my unit in for brake work. So far it has been impossible to find the correct brake pads for the front rotors. Freightliner says they have them (based on Vin#) but the ones sent are too small. Apparently my unit had some upgrade that increased the pad to a lager one. Anyone else incounter this problem?

About 3 hops per foot.

At some point I read my Michelins were rated at 81MPH which seemed much safer since some hightways our west have an 80MPH speedlimit

My shop found a pair of Yokohama 295/80 s 104ZR tires. I consider myself lucky with all of the shortages of tires going on!

Thanks both for the replys and input. My main concern is the load rating. the 295/75 are loadrange G, one step down from the 195/80. Load capacity about 2000# lower. Again i'm going on the GAWR of the front which is 14,600#. Havent been able to put it on a scale yet to know what the actual weight of the coach is.

I just purchased this coach. It has Michelin 295/80R22.5 LRH L front tires with a date code of 1510 (12 years old). Needless to say I dont want to go on vacation with those! The cracking on the sidewall is small but my understanding is no matter what even with Michelin 10 years is the MAX. My problem is finding a set of tires that size just cant be found in my area of Johnson City TN (top NE corner of TN). One Dealer has a pair of 295/75 Goodyear Marathons but their load range is G (6,175 # at 110PSI) and speed rating of 75MPH. I have no idea of what the weights are on the front of this coach, haven been able to weigh it yet but even if the G could handle the load the 75 MPH rating seams potentially dangerious. Just want some second opinions! Thanks!
