  1. I have 2006 Fleetwood Excursion Class A motorhome. Where do you gain access, whether the slides are in the closed position or open position, to manually retract the slides in the event of a power failure? Seems like no access ... one RV service tech told me they would have to remove possibly sofa for front slide access. I would like to have this knowledge, as I witnessed a similar problem recently at a campsite. Thanks, in advance. Jim
  2. I have 2006 Fleetwood Excursion wife likes to put her feet on footrest. On a recent trip back home the footrest would not retract. Any suggestions as to possible solutions?
  3. Thermostat does not click when I set heat nor the fan. Did not know there was a 12 VDC fuse pretty new at this where would it be?
  4. Ok ... I have 2006 Fleetwood Excursion. My back heating unit does not work at all -- no ignition, no nothing. Any suggestions or ideas as to what could be happening? Thankfully, my front heating unit works, but I would like to balance that out, especially in the evening.
  5. Thanks for the link, very helpful!
  6. Bill-Thanks for your feedback, I will certainly not worry as much now!

  8. Don't worry about racism nor the bigots! Enjoy life! I am hispanic married to a "white" woman and have enjoyed to travel 6-8 trips a year! I do recommend to keep a home base since one day you will be too old to travel. Your rig and your wife look beautiful and if you are happy that is all that matters! I am 60 yrs old my wife 57 so we too retired early. We have been retired for 6 1/2 yrs. Enjoy your life!
  9. Ok we have over the past 8 years periodically stayed at KOA Yosemite RV South and have found it very accomodating and pleasant. We have relatives that live in Fresno, Ca so we stay at this KOA and love it! Only 30 amps even though they have some sites in the the N section that seem to have what looks like 50 amp. Rustic and beautiful my dogs love it! close to the casino also although we are not much of gamblers! I would recommend this place without hesitation. Enjoy life!
  10. Thanks for your help! I don't know what happened but I tried to turn it on again and guess what?! Back heater is working! Just a mystery I guess!
  11. Thank for your imput, it's greatly appreciated!
  12. I have a 2006 Fleetwood Excursion. My LP-gas heater in the back bedroom went out, meaning it no longer heats. I noticed that the igniter was trying to light it, with no success. And now it seems it doesn't even try to light it. Any suggestions?
  13. I am fairly new to RV posting and to RV ownership, I have noticed some neighbors have 50 amp cord connected to 30 amp adapter to what looks like a 15 amp adapter to outdoor household outlet. What is the purpose? Is it to maintain their batteries??
  14. I have a 2006 Fleetwood Excursion diesel pusher had to replace house and chassis batteries recently my question is has anyone had any problems or experiences using Batterytender maintainer to keep batteries fully charged. I think my starting batteries are parallel and house batteries are combination series and parallel. Any suggestions?
