  1. Google "how do I remove Diamond Shield from my rv" and you will get lots of information. Good Luck.
  2. Welcome to the forum. I'm curious where you read that ESP's don't cover full timers.
  3. My understanding is the Verizon unlimited prepay plan is a month to month contract only. It can be dropped at any time and they can change it at any time. This is the $65/month prepaid Plan #28366.
  4. Well we've managed to go from DirecTV changing for SD to HD broadcasts to the Ford/Chevy discussion on Direct vs Dish. Bottom line is if you want satellite tv in your RV you have to use Direct or Dish or Hughes. PIck your poison.
  5. Before you all panic, read this. https://www.sats2go.com/images/DirecTV-chages-2019.pdf
  6. I guess they changed the rules. The forum has always been open to non-members.
  7. Joe, unfortunately some HOA's can be more problematic when it comes to building homes and outbuildings.
  8. #DanBall, thanks for reading the forum and taking action when possible.
  9. My conditioned response will most likely be to get this sucker slowed and safely off the road as quickly as possible. Although I never practiced steering in to a skid, that has never been hard to do on the few occasions I've needed to do it.
  10. I wonder how they get around the necessary SEC filings for foreign owned corporations. 96% of the shares are owned by institutions. Vanguard Group being the largest holder at 10%. Are you saying the Chinese Consortium owns 51% of all the institutional holdings? There is a Whirlpool China which is a separate entity. Scary a foreign government can own controlling interest in an American Corp. I would think anybody owning the majority of stock would want to have representation on the board or even have control of the board.

  12. They replaced mine with the newest model and its been awesome. I never had the problem with it starting but I did have the issue of it not draining properly. My issue was the shaft that attaches to the pulley which in turn is attached to the motor was bent. The tub wobbled so badly it eventually wore a groove thru the rubber gasket/seal.
  13. I've always chuckled a little when the "experts" say floor it. Like Five said, the acceleration is not going to throw you against the seat back.
  14. You guys know how I feel about my Newmar and the exemplary customer service I've received. Heck...they shipped me a new upgraded clothes washer at no charge because of issues I was having with the old one. Yep, I was out of warranty.
  15. Did you mean 2019? Directtv has announced it will stop SD broadcasting in 2019 and this will be a problem for those users with a dome antenna that only receives SD.
  16. Richard, give it a break. The OP is asking about routing for a specific trip not how the Garmin works.
  17. Oh boy....you guys are getting off topic. The topic is how do I get a discount at Flying J?
  18. After checking with my Garmin user friends, we came to the decision you have a hybrid Garmin. Not one of us has ever had the Garmin try to reroute us because of traffic and we all agree its not an option we want. I'm glad you have it and enjoy it.
  19. You didn't miss a thing and don't change the topic. The OP wanted to know specifically how to get a discount at Flying J and being a member of Good Sam, getting either a discount card or charge card from Pilot/Flying J is the only way I know.
  20. Sorry....To directly answer the OP's question, the only discounts available to rvers are through Good Sam. I don't know what else can be said about Flying J discounts.
