Do you have the specs on what the ride height should be? You could find you need to lower the high side instead of raising the side you think is low. I assume Roadmaster would have a specification on where/how to measure ride height similar to Freightliner.

Doing a little Google research it appears there may be provincial requirements regarding braking and break away requirements. There must be some Canadian FMCA members on this forum that could answer the questions...heh?

Which is the best flat towing vehicle?
elkhartjim replied to rvhd's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I've towed a tricked out 2005 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Auto, for probably 10,000 miles with no issues. I also have towed a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport JKU, 4 door, automatic with no issues. -
When I lived in a gated community on Lake Conroe, some residents there thought none of their stuff smelled so to say. One resident would bring his motorhome home to unload from their summer stay at their ranch and some of those uppity neighbors would get their panties in a wad because that stinky, loud diesel motorhome with all that shinny metal was in their drive for a day or two. It was a Prevost no less. I guess my point is, one mans home is another mans castle.

Carl, I was going by his area San Antonio area code 210 also. I guess he is waiting on a text or maybe somebody texted him already.

And stay out of the cooking sherry....

Hey, Byron, your responding to a 2 year old post if you didn't notice.

Hopefully you will come back to see this because I never text anyone I don't know. Like DD said, there are several turbo rebuilders in the San Antonio area.

The Freightliner dealer in San Antonio does have hook-ups for long term stays. -
Here we go....Ford vs Chevy debate.

You couldn't make an appointment at Texas Custom Coach? -
The "practical difference" in a coach mounted vs car mounted towbar is strictly cosmetic. The coach mounted stays on the coach when disconnected and the toad mounted stays on the toad and in my opinion is just plain ugly hanging on the front end. Both Roadmaster and Blue Ox make good towbars and baseplates.

OH.....thats a lot of padding.

Dang, Carl, you going to completely gut it? $40k is a lot of remodeling.

I'm enjoying my GMC Canyon but I don't know that I'll ever part with my Wrangler. Its nice to have options. -
Come on children, stop this bickering.

Yep...but he keeps saying there is no inverter outlet behind his existing refrigerator. There has to be....

I'm with you on this Bill. If the icemaker continued to work when he was off the grid, the icemaker is getting power from somewhere.

Those are all relatively short climbs albeit they are a little steep. Carl and I are very familiar with the hill in Marble Falls. You just need to stop at the Bluebonnet Cafe during pie happy hour to make the climb easier.
-
PM'ed you about fires.
-
Why can't you connect to the outlet the ice maker used? It should be on the inverter.

We aren't all as smart as you....

Info Needed On Toad: Grand Cherokee?

It will be interesting to see how the new Wrangler JL series tows. I believe it has the EPS system. -
Good to know. I hope it fixes your issue. I would still call Mangum and have them walk you through the complete set-up.

Another M&G supporter. I used it on a 2005 Wrangler, 2016 Wrangler and now a 2018 GMC Canyon. Like Joe, I wanted a fully proportional braking system.
