  1. Did you do good or well in English class? There was a two legged possum from Texas that was known world wide...remember?
  2. Corpus received very little damage from the hurricane. Rockport and Port Aransas are up and running as we speak.
  3. Just be aware that Dawn will remove any wax and the lemon juice is acidic. Before doing bodywork and/or painting a car, we would wash it with Dawn.
  4. Joe, Carl should be the resident expert on Galveston Rv parks.
  5. Good job. Where are you getting the chrome extensions?
  6. I use Gas Buddy for diesel pricing.

    Alignment

Does it drive like it needs a new alignment, are your tires showing abnormal wear? If yes, then a new alignment may be needed. Make sure they check the ride height and make sure it's correct before doing the alignment.
  8. A lot of the larger campgrounds have carts for rent.
  9. You just better be sure what you're bolting to or welding to is strong enough and that it's bolted or welded to something strong.
  10. Isn't that the truth. I don't understand why there hasn't been a law passed to deactivate a phone while moving. If nothing else, deactivate the texting ability of the phone while moving. The technology is there.
  11. I posted the link immediately after your first request, Wayne. Scroll up....sheeesh back at you.😜
  12. At the risk of changing the thread subject, here ya go. 1. Google RV Geeks leveling pads. 2. Click on the appropriate topic. 3. When their page comes up, highlight and copy the website address. 4. Go back to the FMCA thread and paste the address. 5. Now you owe me a cinnamon roll.
  13. Here you go, Wayne. http://www.thervgeeks.com/our-favorite-gear/utility-block-rv-leveling-blocks-4-pack/
  14. I hope some of this information is helping the OP.
  15. 2005 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 automatic 2018 GMC Canyon 4x4 automatic
  16. I tow either a Jeep Wrangler or a GMC Canyon truck, both automatic. Check the FMCA Towing Guide for more options.
  17. I assume you both have a fiberglass roof. This is my first motorhome with a fiberglass roof and I've been debating how to best seal it to lessen the white streaks. My first thought was to use ReJex and now I see Carl is using Lucas Slick Mist. How often do you apply the Lucas and does it do a good job keeping the streaking in check?
  18. No problems with having deep pockets, Bill, the problem is they are mostly empty.
  19. The most I've paid for diesel was in 2008. We had just come off the Natchez Trace and were traveling mostly back roads in Mississippi. I remember needed to fuel up in some small town and paid $4.89....yikes.
  20. I experienced the close to $5/gallon diesel a few years ago and didn't change any plans. I'll admit there were times of sticker shock when fueling.🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
  21. It's either moisture or gas coming from the fiberglass and gel coat repair. The paint, sealant and gel coat need to be removed and reapplied properly. Find either a body shop familiar with working on Corvettes or a boat repair shop. Your insurance company steered you to the wrong shop. The shop telling you they followed the DuPont procedure indicates they think it's a paint problem, it's not. Good luck, welcome to this forum and let us know how it works out for you.
  22. What does the owners manual say about towing?
  23. Wayne, as you know, I used a dolly that had steerable wheels and I kept the car steering wheel locked. I did use TPMS on the dolly and rear toad tires. Thankfully I never had a tire problem so l can't specifically answer your question but since my steering wheel was locked I don't believe it would have shown any movement.
  24. I was going to make a recommendation to the OP but now I see i can only respond to the OP's exact question. Herman, are you saying unless my response to the OP is exact and precise to his question I should start a new thread? The overseers of the FMCA forum need to rewrite the forum rules to include this information if thats the case.
