  1. There is plenty of fuel, generator is warmed up, and works all appliances while AC is not running. Turn AC on with no other appliances, etc. engaged, generator runs, AC comes on for a few seconds then there is a surge and the amps shown on panel rises above 50 and the generator cuts offs. Code shown is blink pause blink, blink, blink, blink which appears to be 14 fault code: (controller not able to regulate rated frequency). Corrective action: Reduce number of appliances, especially when AC and battery charger is running. There is nothing else running in the coach when the AC is engaged. Did not clean spark arrestor, fuel lines, etc. look good. 2001 Itasca Horizon
  2. Generator works fine until AC is started; then it surges and turns off. Just changed oil, replaced all filters and it does the same thing. Generator has 400 hours on it. Any ideas?
  3. Changing the filters was correct. Thank you so much for all you help and advice. Safe & Happy Travels, The Parkers
  4. No addtl. codes on transmission. Have two fuel filters, however, don't know if there is a manual primer pump. Will check and get back. Thanks for providing us somewhere to start checking. Parkers
  5. Have a 2001 Itasca Horizon, @75,000 miles, and having trouble getting over hills (even small ones) without a toad. Have push button Allison transmission, diagnostic code is oL-70, Sump fluid temp too low. However, when code was checked the coach had been driven for several hours. No warning lights on transmission or engine and manual check of transmission fluid was OK. The coach shutters/vibrates and rpms and power drop when going up hills; runs fine on level roads. Can you help us get over the hills, please. Parkers 2001 Itasca Horizon Toad, 2006 Pontiac G-6
  6. Could not locate/hear any air leaks. I cannot locate the governor or the air compressor. Located the dryer and put air in it but no help. In addition, where would I find the instrument control modular - might as well check all items. I have 2001 Itasca with 330 CAT.
  7. Thanks, will try and get back to you after snow melts enough to get to coach.
  8. I have a 2001 Itasca Horizon. Over last six months I have to wait longer between starting out for the air to build up on gauges and brake alarm to go off. Now, I have no air pressure on either front or back gauges and brake alarm continues. I have let engine idle for 15 minutes to no avail. Any suggestions on what I should be looking at. Thanks!
