  1. Ah, a truck and a Golf Cart to match the MH, sound to me like a"Winner winner Chicken Dinner". It didn't take long to remember "YES DEAR". Herman
  2. No, that was the total out the door. Herman
  3. Ray, our Injector pump was failing and Cummins in Joplin MO replace it with an re-manufactured from Cummins and our cost was $5,005.26. They did a beautiful job and we have had no issues. Good luck and you and your wife have our prayers. 🙏 Herman
  4. sumrfun45, Welcome to the Forum. This is the time of the year when A/C problems pop up. Long time with out using. I had a issue with mine not starting and it turned out to be the Start Run Capacitor. If you can remove the A/C cover it will be a Gray Can about the size of a small beer can. When they go out bad they will split open. Top, bottom or even the side. If it is bad and you find it you can tell right away. Good luck, Herman
  5. Carl, I know what you are saying however a CDL is a National Commercial License, and the CDL requirements are the same nation wide. And you are correct about the Physical, I don't know if it is every year but you do have to have one to renew your CDL. Herman
  6. Carl, I can see you getting a white 2021 Bronco. I can see you getting it painted to match the Motorhome. What I can't see is you giving up a cruise. I know how much you love your cruises. Besides you know what a good looking it would be, coach and toad matching. Go for both. Herman
  7. Wayne is correct it is the Wiper and not the slide seal. Herman
  8. JL, Welcome to the Forum. Check you burner tube for obstructions (dirt dobber's nest). This time of year is a good time to clean them. Does it have an electric element and if so does it heat on electric? Herman
  9. Not, Welcome to the Forum. There have been several topics and post on slide, slide out then level or level then slides out. The conclusion has been it is best to consult you coach manufacturer. In your case Fleetwood. I have, in our Monaco, always leveled, put out the slides and then re leveled. As for the water coming in after a rain and pulling in the slides. Your slide seals most likely need to looked at. They may need to be adjusted or even replaced. (Ross hit Reply before I did) Again, Welcome, Herman
  10. I would check the output voltage at the new alternator. Is it new or rebuilt? It could be a bad alternate. Try turning on the key but not starting engine. Then flip the salesman switch, see if it blows the breaker then. Herman (started and didn't finish)
  11. In the old days when I busted nuts and knuckles for a living when water levels go down the exposed cell dry and when distilled water is added there will be flacking and it will settle in the bottom of the battery. When enough accumulates it will short out the plates. That is when the battery is Sulvaited. If this is the first time the levels have been low, you may hopefully be good. I would still run the test that Rich mentioned. Hope you are ok. Herman
  12. Louis & Kathy, Welcome to the Forum. I am sure we have a number of Airstream owner here, Just keep checking and besides there maybe items that you have experience with and can help someone. So keep checking and again Welcome. Herman
  13. No matter which tires you are purchasing there are some charges that needs to be added. Mounting, most places $25.00, Balancing again most places $25.00 then there is the government tax - disposal tax - plus local taxes. So you can add $60.00 to $75.00 per tire when purchasing new tires. So no matter which tire you buy, there is always, as they say, "Sticker Shock" when you receive the bill. Herman
  14. Sam, Welcome, I have a 2002 Dynasty. Mine has all ways run around 178 to 185. Does you Dynasty have a Trip Tec? We have one and I can check the actual temp of both the engine and transmission. We did have an issue one time in Colorado in some really long rolling hills. All I did was down shift to increase may RPMs and the over heating stopped. One thing a Monaco and I am sure most coaches have is a low coolant alarm. Have you checked the coolant levels? If you are not sure of the cleanliness of your radiator it may be time to get out the SUPER Simple Green. Herman
  15. Have your friend call Colaws Salvage in Carthage, MO. They purchase all types of totaled RVs. 417-548-2125 Herman
  16. Louise, Hope it is able to come together so you can have y'alls 50th Anniversary Rally in November. And Congratulations to the Crusin Cajuns! Herman
  17. Discount Tire is a very good place to purchase Tires. I use them on both my pick up and my SUV. I can guarantee if you show them the quote from FMCA's program they will match and sometime beat it. What I like about them is that you can get lifetime rotation and balance, plus road hazard protection. There quite a few locations that can serve you close you. As for Large Tires, they unfortunately don't have either the space nor equipment to handle the large tires. There are many dealers that cater to Large trucks and RVs. Although they are good in a pinch truck stop shops would not be my first choice . So my recommendation would be to get your quote(in writing) from the FMCA program and shop around. You may find a better deal or not. Good luck, Herman
  18. CR, Could you give the year of your Kountry Star. Then it would be a lot easier to help you locate the parts you are needing. A picture of the door would be a lot of help also. Herman
  19. Joe, Welcome to the Forum. I found you filter, "Aurora 436-440-0347" on their website. It measures 210 mm x 74 mm x 12 mm or 8.268" x 2.913" x 0.472'. You might try typing on Google "Aurora 436-440-0347", that is where I found. It also shows places that carry it. Hope this helps. Herman
  20. Thomas, Our chapter, Lone Star, has the election of Officers at our September Rally with the installation at our December Rally. With all that is happening now, we are still planning on having the two Rallies. If for some reason we are forced to cancel the September Rally and election of officers we will most likely have our current officers remain in office and have our election for new officer in September 2021. Good solution, maybe but that is what we think is best. Herman
  21. Brent, Welcome to the Forum. Folks here need to know what make, year and model of coach you have. With that information it will get you a better answer. And again Welcome Herman
  22. Great minds, I was thinking of Ruidoso to. Herman
  23. Sound to me like you are either low on Coolant or may have a bad sending unit. Also the same goes with lubricant(oil) Herman
  24. Carl, crossing into the US for tires may be OK. However since they will have a Canadian address and so forth I wonder if the Michelin, Continental or Hankook programs would work. I have no idea. Anyone know if those program will work in the US for Canadian Citizen? Herman
  25. Now campcop remember it's may be 112 degrees but it's a dry heat. 😅 Herman
