Anybody know of any good campgrounds in the Rapid City area? We plan on doing Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, etc. We could stay in any of these areas but would like to stay in one spot for eight or nine days. We have a 41-foot, four-slideout pusher with toad on back. We would prefer something with a little width. We will also be going from there to Glacier NP.

Our toad is a 2008 Jeep Wrangler 4 dr hard top with automatic transmission, previous 2005 Jeep wrangler 2 dr. soft top have pulled them over 20,000 miles without any mechanical problems, can hook up in matter of minutes. The procedure shifting into neutral very simple. I did have to add a battery disconnect on the 2008 because of electric equipment, this does not create any added time. I am 6' 3 " tall and have no problem with four passengers. I use the Jeep as a second car. I pull the Jeep with a 45' Mandalay and have no problems in and out of parks and tight spaces. The Jeep makes a good off road vehicle when we visit the mountains.

We are planning a trip to the area around Mt. Ida, Arkansas to visit family. Any knowledge regarding these two RV Parks or any others nearby (10 miles) would be appreciated:
KOC Campground in Norman, AR.
Marlyns RV Park in Mt. Ida.
We are traveling in a class A motorhome.

My coach is a 2008 Mandalay. I have only had it for two years. Previous coach 2005 Damon. Charging by inverter, never had this problem with the Damon, charged same way. May be operating the inverter incorrect.

We are new FMCA members, have had two previous motorhomes. I find this organization offers more advice than any other group or coach mfg.
We live in hot southern La. and keep the coach under cover and powered up. I am always adding distilled water to the house batteries and now am seeing boil-over from the batteries. The repair shop said this is the result of low water. Is there a solution to the problem?

Has anyone had experience with the Roadmaster InvisiBrake system? I have a 45' Mandalay. 425 ISL Cummings and tow a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, 4 Dr., looking for less hassle auxiliary system.
Thanks,
