  1. We are planning to go from the Grand Canyon to Yellowstone via Hoover Dam, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and then up to Yellowstone. We are driving a 39' gas Canyon Star and pulling a Honda FIT. Are there any routes that we should avoid on this trip? We have used google maps and mapquest to plot routes. We are new to mountain driving and would like to take the least hazardous routes which are not necessarily the ones shown by the above. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. We will be leaving from Berlin, MD in about 10 days and making our way to the Grand Canyon via Route 50, I66, I80, and I40. JerryM
  2. I have traveled through the Bridge Tunnel both ways (north and south) several times with a 39' motor coach and also with a 36' fifth wheel. No problems with either. The rule with propane is that the propane tank must be shut off when going through the bridge tunnel.
  3. Are there any new internet connection methods that are available since the last 2010 post? We are getting ready to start a trip that will take us from Ocean City, MD to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and return. Our previous experince with T-mobile leaves much to be desired. No coverage in too many areas.
  4. We have a 2011 Honda FIT that we dinghy tow. We obtained a special key (cannot be used as an ignition key) from our dealer that allows us to manually lock the FIT when the regular key is in the ignition. We leave the fuse in the FIT installed and have a "Battery Maintainer" that we purchased from brake buddy. You should have or be able to provide 12V at your 7 pin plug on the coach. The battery maintainer is connected to the corresponding 12V on the 6 pin plug on the toad and to the positive terminal of the 12V battery on the toad. This keeps the toad battery charged while towing and allows 12V to be available to your brake system as well. jdmosk
