I used Crest Total whitening toothpaste and my orbital polisher to restore the headlights on my daughter's 1998 Toyota Camry. Worked fantastically and was cheap. This after the sandpaper left my arms ready to fall off and one of those off the shelf kits restoration kits didn’t even make a dent. I am sold on the toothpaste. Any brand will do but it needs to be "whitening" as those contain the polishing compound necessary. Some water may be needed while polishing but very little.

Towsheild From Coastline. Mud flaps and barriers bounce stuff around. This is a full frontal bra. Used it for 3 years now and it has saved me many times.

Yes, it is a 7 pin tow wire harness connection. It should fit the tow wire socket on the rear of your coach, bumper area, near the receiver hitch.
Hang on to it. May come in n handy one day.

I have pulled a 2001 Acura MDX that weighs 4,300 for 30, 000 miles over the Rockies 3 times and have no problem with my 2011 F53 chassis. Be sure to add supplemental braking to your tow.

I don't know if it helps but all those lights and cigarette lighter run off my house batteries in my coach. Granted, mine is a 2011model (Itasca) so much may be different. Check that house batteries disconnect is on and look for 12 volt house breakers or fuses.

I just installed my magneshades a couple weeks ago and love them. If you go to their website, they have instructional videos that explain everything.

Love My Toad Charge! I made the connection from Coach to Dingy by running their cable through the spiral 6 pin tow wire harness and zip-tying the cable at each end, leaving sufficient excess on the coach, dingy and cable to make the connection. This has resulted in a one piece set up that is easy on and off. I left about 6 inches of cable on each so when I am not towing, the dingy cable tucks up into the grill. This was easy when done with the dingy hooked up to estimate length and they supplied the wires and connectors.

My 2011 Itasca Sunova 33C was prewired for Satellite. The connections to the receiver consist of Component Cables and Stereo Audio cables as well as a 12 volt power transformer that must be plugged in to send the signal from the receiver to the two TV's.Recently, the picture and audio fails at random times and I get a "No Signal" on my TV. My provider replaced the receiver but the problem still exists. I found that if I Unplug the power transformer mentioned above and plug it back in, the picture and audio come back for a short while before failing again. I have also found that the longer it is unplugged, the longer I have picture when plugged back in. It seems like a heat problem. Anyone out there have any idea if it might be the transformer or is there a switch box somewhere I need to find? -
Power pedestals of sufficient height to accomodate surge guards. Your own wifi, not a third party like tengonet or att. They all suck. List in Trailer life Directory, especially the trip planning software.careful thought to layout of sites to pot as many coaches as possible facing as to maximize awning shade on patios (Noth-Nothwest)

My Itasca and my brothers Winnebago came with the Sharp convection oven microwave. I don't see any difference in the venting of the hood but I don't know if there are internal shields or something like that. It does appear different on the outside and looks the same vent as a regular microwave vent hood

Very pleased with my Garmin dezel 760lmt. The Rand McNally 7710 had great Software but screen quality was horrible (they sell a Sun Visor for it. that should have been my first clue). No GPS is perfect but I recently took a 5, 000 mile trip many places I had never been before. the navigator made the trip less stressful. Wouldn't travel without it. The dezel is designed for truckers but serves the purpose for RVs just fine.

Stick to owner manual instructions. More is better. If you have modified your tow, IE driveline disconnect, transmission pump or Dolly, follow the modification equipment's guidelines. The main purpose of starting the toad regularly is to lubricate the automatic transmission. Start it and run through the gears.

My 2011 Itasca Sunova 33B towing a 4200lb Acura MDX has been over the Rockies twice. I usually slow to 40-45 on steep, high grades, run in 3rd gear and that keeps RPMS in the high 3000 range, smooth, quiet and steady. Let's me enjoy the scenery, too.

I have found a little if any benefit in the large mud flap on the rear. After a cross country trip years ago, I found the front of my car especially the passenger side to be dinged and chipped. I think the vortex created by the coach sucks gravel and debris from the side of the road. I went to the TowShield which is basically a full bra that covers the entire front of the toad from the whole windshield to below the bumper. I have suffered no further damage since.

On my daughter's car, the headlights were oxidized over, yellow and fogged. We used toothpaste and it cleaned them right up! It has to be a whitening toothpaste but it is a fine grit polish and works with a buffer or elbow grease and was amazing!

I have owned Garmins in the past and have never experienced glare problems with any of the screens. They are fully viewable from 160+ degrees. I purchased the RM 7710 because of the RV specific format. It never saw the road. The screen quality was so poor. Even without glare, the screen was washed and dim. It had to be facing you nearly straight on to be seen in the daytime, without the sun in the windshield. I returned it and have a Garmin Dezel. Although the RV features are not as nice as RM, the accuracy is fine, the hardware is sturdy and it performs navigations very well. I am not aware of an available "glare schroud" for the Dezel. I agree that the glare shroud is RM's admission of an inferior product. Shame.

Ooops, sorry, hit the enter button too soon. The legal pitfalls abound. It is not a simple question to answer. What is legal in one state is a 20 year felony in another. One must educate themselves thoroughly. Compliance is often subjective and simply because you believe you have done everything you can to comply doesn't mean a police officer will see it that way. There are many stories of travelers who have been arrested even though their actions were reasonable and the local laws complicated. Possession of a firearm is a political issue in many areas (think New York) and we all know how justice and politics go together. Joining an organization such as the Buckeye Firearms Association or the National Rifle Association is a great place start to become informed. Just watch your daily life for those things you use every day! You will keep using them in your coach. Most RVer s have two of everything so they don't forget something when loading and simply don't have to load it. Phone chargers, toiletries, toasters, etc. One thing for sure you will miss if you don't have it is adequate rain gear, especially shoes.
