  1. Not sure about the main page issues, but yes, you will be receiving a packet from FMCA that will have your plaques and info. I believe they also send membership cards, but you can also print your card out from the main site (if you can figure out how to get to the member's account page). I haven't been on the main page lately, so not sure what might be the issue.

And welcome to FMCA and the forum!

  2. Congrats on your awesome new coach! I like your idea of getting used to driving your MH without towing first....not that towing is difficult, but it's one less thing to worry about on your learning curve.

You'll need to state which parts are included in the estimate. I don't think it's far off. You can always price check the components, then decide if the labor charges are reasonable.

If you like the Enclave and it's towable, then I'd suggest staying with it. As far as towing is concerned, other than the install and perhaps some adjustments needed, they will all tow similarly. I don't even notice the vehicle behind me.

Joining FMCA is an excellent decision. Well worth it!

  3. I have the SMI Play-In-Stay Duo, made by the same folks that make AF1. I got it because of the coach I had at the time couldn't support the AF1. I'm happy with it and it continues to do well with the DP that I now own. If I had this coach at the time I opted to purchase my braking system, I believe that the AF1 would have been my preference -- however, I don't know much about the M&G, so can't really comment (other than it isn't compatible with my toad for some reason). All that I can tell you is that the SMI products are very nice, easy to setup for travel, and work well if you only have one tow vehicle (thus no need for portability between vehicles). Good luck in your decision.

  4. The program doesn't order the tires. The tire dealer orders them. The time stamp is the time stamp when it was manufactured and has nothing to do with when it is installed. Regardless of whether you use the Michelin Advantage Program or not, insist on recent DOT stamped tires when you work with the tire dealer.
