  1. I had the cobbler, I don’t think I had bread pudding. The cobbler was fantastic 😍 Bread pudding is my favorite, that and those lemon squares with the buttery crust on the bottom. Carl, watch yourself, you keep eating like that you’re likely to have more broken slides 🤣
  2. If you switch out the entire unit depending on what you select in the residential world you will gain space inside for food storage and shave a few hundred pounds off of the coach. That's how it worked out for us anyway, no electric/inverter/battery changes were necessary either.
  3. Carl, I got nothing! Rich's comment makes sense! Can you see all of this from the basement? Anything down there binding it up? Did Linda try her hammer? 😂
  4. Pat, A Cat dealer would be your best option. Most others could do it but only with CAT SIS software. Locating an RV dealer with the software and skill set to do it properly would be a needle in a haystack. Im actually surprised they didn’t complete the programming prior to releasing the coach back to you.
  5. Very close. Unless in the area for a game I’d recommend planning accordingly.
  6. Interesting. I ran Mobile Delvac 15w40 before, switched to Shell Rotella 15w40 blend then onto full synthetic. Absolutely no difference other than the oil viscosity breakdown on my lube analysis wasn’t as bad. I have to say it wasn’t bad to begin with. But...but the terrain of travel changes annually, could that have had something to do with it, you bet ya! My MPG topped out this year with the full synthetic in the crankcase, I owe that to driving habit changes and I’m sure the oil helped some, but how much we will never know. I purchase only top shelf brands, whichever I get the best price at that time.
  7. Obedb, you met my DW, if she liked it, must be good.
  8. JAMES2FMCA, welcome to the Forum! We have always stayed here, loved it! Easily accessible from I-495 and not a bad drive into Boston or Salem from here with the toad. http://www.normandyfarms.com/
  9. Dont forget to stop in Portland Maine and tour the breweries, free beer on the tour, what can I say
  10. Great idea Richard, but do you have a solution in a campground that has terrible or NO WiFi? The WIFI issue has always been a concern of ours and purchasing a hot spot isn't practical.
  11. Do a search, this subject has been discussed many times;
  12. I think the biggest issue of concern is how it was designed to operate. We all know they monitor pressures and temperatures, but the functionality of the display is what really will tie it all up as a decent product. I have had three systems in 10 years. Pressures were never the same as the hand held gauge with any of them, they were all off 1-3 PSI, was it the gauge or the TPMS? Who knows.... The Pressure Pro and EEZ Tire displays were simple and common sense was applied when designed, not so with Tire Minder. As an example the Tire minder we had whenever someone would walk in the coach and it picked up vibration it would turn on, the bright display looked like a light was turned on up front and worst of all it set off a loud chirp. Anyone sleeping up front wasn't sleeping anymore. Pressure Pro and EEZ tire have switches to shut them off while parked and no audible sounds unless there is a leak. Pressure Pro and EEZ tire can also be hard wired to the ignition circuit of the coach and came with cigarette lighter plugs or hard wire plugs. Tire Minder had many, many false readings, example when the tires got hot pressures and temperatures rise (who'd of thought??) when they would cool down I had 10 leaking tires, Seriously....10 leaking tire alarms. Its the basic functionality and design that I never thought about until awoken in the middle of the night or annoyed while setting up or unloading at home or getting fuel etc......
  13. Wonder how much of those proceeds go to the programmers of GPS units 😂
  14. Another interesting fact. For us to cross the GW in the coach with the toad its $68.00. For us to cross on I-84 is $11.00 😘
  15. I run EEZ Tire without flow through sensors. Its a little over a year old and works perfectly. I also do not use a repeater and the toad works perfectly as well. Very happy with it.
  16. That's the way I go to New England, I usually pick up I-287 off of I-78, nice scenic country drive, with the exception of Hartford CT, depending on the time of day that.s usually not an issue either.
  17. This would be my solution; https://rvroof.com/2018/01/31/rv-flexarmor-sprayed-roof-vs-the-competition/
  18. She'll laugh, my DW has a good sense of humor
  19. Bill, probably why I don't have a GPS in the coach! DW knows everything, I don't even need google anymore .
  20. Great advice! To add; I-95 will cross this bridge, you will need to ignore your GPS, for some reason they are all programmed to send you over this bridge. Beyond the mess of entrances and exits every few feet the tolls are very expensive and its just a confusing mess to navigate not to mention it is in serious need of a new surface. Personally, I cross the Hudson on I-84 out in the country, my last trip over the Tappan Zee bridge wasn't very enjoyable.
  21. That’s not a mess, try pulling the engine oil pan off a 13 liter Maxxforce and believing the dealer that it was empty . And before you think I’m nuts it was towed back partially disassembled and the dip stick was missing, but they swore it was empty and I didnt try and drain it first, believed them. Lessons learned at the school of hard knocks Floor creepers don’t move fast enough
  22. DD, I believe they came along with the electric clutch technology, now we also have water pumps with clutches to speed them up and slow them down for MPG
