We stayed in the park at Trailer village in Feb last year. No driving back and forth to other sites. This is a great place to stay in the park if you are going to stay several days and enjoy the canyon. The weather was cold and the air was clear this time of year. We have visited the park at other times of the year and the views were somewhat smoggy from the west cost. We stayed in a 32 ft RV with a TOAD. Walk the rim trail and enjoy the views.
