The campground host arrived on November 1. He is currently an associate member of FMCA but owned a Coachmen motorhome in the past. He is indeed a volunteer and is not compensated for serving as host, though he has been given a complimentary campsite for his hosting duties. Good news! Alpin Haus RV of Amsterdam, New York, has generously donated the use of a Monaco Knight in which Sgt. Ryan will be transported to Washington, D.C., for the Marine Corps Marathon. Details have been worked out to ensure that he will be able to be carried aboard the coach and ride in it comfortably. Thanks to all for your concern.
