Thanks much Herman. Perry was our first rally and we had a great time. I enjoyed the seminars and got a chance to meet with the Under 60 gang at the reception on Friday afternoon. Hope to join the Crusin' Cajuns when they meet near Lafayette later next month.

Both East and West bound lanes of Interstate 10 will close today (March 15) at 7:00 am due to flooding along the Sabine River. Also, Interstate 59 in Louisiana is currently open, but also being monitored because of high water. Updates: www.LSP.org Update as of 8 A.M. 3/15: http://hb.511la.org/#roadReports/eventAlbum/CARS4-47347?timeFrame=TODAY&layers=allReports%2Croadwork%2CroadReports%2CweatherWarnings%2CferryReports

Perry Georgia Convention, March 2009

We are going and this will be our first time attending. I am looking forward to the seminars as well as seeing the new products. Looking forward to the trip! -
I strongly considered the Palazzo, but research on the product sent me elsewhere. I read numerous stories about poor quality control and little or no reply from the manufacturer regarding service issues. The overwhelming knock was a failure of the motors that power the slide-outs. In the end, I decided to purchase from a mfg. that did not have "multiple" product lines

I placed a deposit on a coach in Houston this past June and was ready to purchase pending an inspection. Just so happened that I found the exact coach at Lazy Days in Tampa a few days later. I called, spoke to a salesman and informed him of my status. He asked that I send him a copy of the purchase agreement on the Houston based coach so that he might also offer a price. He promptly called back and indicated that the price I was paying was "below wholesale" and that he could do nothing for me....except when informed him that I was not seeking financing and that I was ready to buy that very afternoon. Within the hour, Lazy Day's matched the price (some $46,000 off of the asking price..go figure) sent me two airline tickets to Tampa, a car to meet me at the airport as well as a hotel stay and 3 exhaustive days of individual "newbie RV training". While there, I also went through the driving school which I found to be most beneficial and would encourage ANYONE regardless of experience, to go through if given the opportunity. I was most skeptical of the entire "Lazy Days Experience" and looked for holes in the armor at every turn and was not able to find any. Everyone was helpful and while I have not been back for any service issues, I can honestly say that the entire experience was most enjoyable. I've joked with friends that this was the first time I ever wrote a six-figure check wearing shorts and flip-flops!

Is there an area at the 2016 rally in Perry, GA where attendees can buy/sell/trade RV related items that are no longer being used? I have lots of things...many still in the original package...that I will never put to good use, but maybe of benefit to someone else. Anyone need a two man kayak??

It is a great idea..and we've already thought about a little Cajun Engineering on one if we got it.

Found a website for a company called RV Rover...that makes cart-type vehicles that fit In hitch receivers of motorhome or toads. The phone number is no longer in service and to date, I've not received any response to my emails. Here's the website: http://www.rvrover.net/ Does anyone know if they were purchased by another company are where they are manufactured? Thanks
