The stretch below Crescent City, California is slow going. Speed limit is 25mph, so don't plan on a lot of mileage the day you do this stretch. Take your time, stop and smell the roses. If you follow Highway 1 all the way down you will not be able to do the stretch from Stinson Beach, California to Sausalito, California. Nothing over 22' long on that stretch of road. Otherwise, Highway 1 in California is amazing! Many great places to overnight.
